Back at it again

Hello there pizza addicts!

Sorry for the hiatus. Real life has been giving me a beating and no time for eating. Alright let's get to this.

I was hanging out with my friend B today and we were hungry and decided to go for a pie. We stopped by Villa Borghese II today. Nice pizza spot in a small town in Central Jersey called Helmetta. Parked in the back and went right in. They had a nice littler display showing a few varieties of their slices.

Was greeted by a friendly guy at the counter. Don't know if that was the owner. I proceeded to order a medium pie, half plain, half with Italian sausage. I sat down in an empty table to wait to be served. As usual, just whipped out my phone and bam, right into Instagram I went.

About 10 mins later the waitress comes out with my pie. Immediately we digged in. Hot as f@ck, but soooo delicious. My friend B fell in love with the pizza there. It was seriously good. Nice crispy crust and full of flavor. Right on with the amount of sauce, decent amount of cheese and sausage too.

I mean, look at this beast.

All in all very delicious. Woodstopbyagain/10. My friend B said he definitely will be coming back again soon. So am I. Lol. So, if you're looking to order pizza in Helmetta. This is the spot to check and order from. Believe me, you won't be disappointed.

Nunzio's II

While out and about driving through NJ I was getting a little hungry. As you might already know I was in the lookout for a pizza shop to try another shop I haven't tried before.

Rolling through a little town in Central Jersey called Helmetta. I see this little strip mall and noticed it had a Pizzeria in it. Weird right? A pizza shop in a strip mall. Hell I can throw a rock and hit 6 pizzerias in one shot. That's how many there are in New Jersey. Lol.

Anyways. I stopped by and checked this place out. Small little shop called Nunzio's II, not much to see as their pizza display didn't really have much in it. The owner was there at the counter. Very nice and welcoming gentleman.

I said what the heck, let's give it a shot anyways. I went ahead and ordered a plain pie. I rate every pizza shop depending on how good their plain pie is. I don't need no stanking fancy pizza, just gimme a plain slice and I'm good. Lol

I sat down and waited for the pie to come out. Once it was ready he brought it over to my table and time to dig in. Took a couple bites of this slice and holy guacamole. Shiz was delicious. I never expected it to be this good mang!

I wish I took a pic, but man that thing was sooo good that I just ate and ate and completely forgot to snap a flick before eating the whole thing. Take my word for it. Whatever that means. Seriously do yourself a favor. Next time you're driving around in Central Jersey, take a drive out to taste the best pizza in Helmetta and see for yourself. Heck order it before hand through their website and it should be ready when you get there. I wish I would've known that before hand. Sometimes it gets packed and you have to wait a bit. If you order it online you avoid the wait time.

Alright that's it for now. Catch you all on the next one!

Peace

The best pizza in Hazlet

So I was in Hazlet, NJ with my wife the other day looking for a chiropractor office and got lost. We were so hungry after driving around for a while. We decided to eat some pizza. While driving and looking for a place to eat we stumbled upon Luigi's Famous Pizza in Middle Road. Not knowing what to order I noticed they had a sign that read "The original locations of the famous rectangular pizza". So I ordered one with pepperoni and sausage.

I sat down with my wife and waited a bit until it was ready. About 20 minutes later the waitress came out with this huge pie. Me and my wife looked at each other like what the heck? This thing is huuuuge. Well, let's start digging in we said.
Look at this beast!

Took a first bite and man. That thing was just pure bliss. Nice and crunchy like I like them. Great flavor and not a lot of sauce, plenty of pepperoni and sausage. Unlike other places who barely put anything on when you order ingredients on them.

We brought the rest home. A few days later my brother in law was visiting. He was hungry so my wife warmed up a few slices for him. When he took his first bite, the first question out of his mouth was "Where is this pizza from?" I kid you not. We told him we got it from Luigi's Famous in Hazlet. He was in love with it.

Now we go back once every other week for this delicious pizza. We drive about 40 minutes each wat. That's how good it is to us. Sooo, if you're in Hazlet area by any chance or live near them stop by and try one. I noticed they also have a website with online ordering. If you're looking to try the best pizza in hazlet order from Luigis Famous Pizza in 477 Middle Road.
